French Bee is a French long-haul leisure airline with routes between France, the United States and French overseas destinations. Its current animal guidance accepts dogs and cats only, either in the cabin or in the hold depending on size, weight, breed and route approval. This can make French Bee useful for small dogs on eligible France-US routes, but the pet place must be confirmed before booking.

Booking tip
Add the pet at booking or through Manage My Booking as early as possible, and no later than 48 hours before departure. French Bee says animals are subject to quotas, so do not buy a passenger ticket first and assume a pet slot will still be available. If your dog is close to the cabin limit, weigh dog plus carrier and confirm whether the airline will require hold transport instead.
Why it can work
French Bee is worth checking when it appears as a direct operator between France and North America because it publishes a dedicated animals page and sells both cabin and hold pet services on eligible flights. For small dogs that fit the cabin carrier, it may avoid a connection through a larger hub carrier.
Restrictions
French Bee states that animal transport is not available to or from Papeete, Tahiti. Brachycephalic animals, including bulldogs, are not permitted in the hold. Cabin passengers travelling with a pet cannot book a Maxi Leg seat, and pets cannot travel with an unaccompanied minor. Final acceptance depends on quota, route, size, weight, breed, carrier or crate and all departure, arrival and transit documents.
Dog-owner notes
French Bee accepts only dogs and cats as pets. The airline's US animals page lists $100 per flight segment for cabin pets and $195 per flight segment for hold pets, but prices and availability can vary by market and route. For service dogs, French Bee has separate SVAN rules and US CDC dog-import checks where relevant.
Final check before paying
Confirm the exact aircraft, route, dog breed, carrier size, temperature rules and destination import law directly with the airline. A country can allow dogs while a specific airline or aircraft refuses them.
